Year 5

Dear Parents/Carers,

 

Welcome back to term 5! We hope that you had a relaxing and restful two week break and that your children are excited to be returning for another busy term.  

 

We will use the website and the school newsletter as our main forms of communication with you so please check in regularly to find out what is going on and what the children have been doing. You can look at the photos to see what the children have been up to in their classes.

 

Please keep an eye on the website or contact your teacher if you have any questions about our topics this term.

 

Homework Expectations 

Reading journals should be in school each day, but homework tasks will be handed out to the children on Monday, they will have the opportunity to record this in their reading logs.

The weekly homework activities will be linked to the children's learning and our topics. We won't always expect the children to be handing in tasks to be marked, some activities can be completed at home, but they will be important in supporting the skills that the children will be learning in school. Please use your reading logs to record the children's reading and any homework tasks you have completed - speak to your teacher if you have any questions about this.

Week 1

5BH – Monday and Thursday

5FC – Tuesday and Thursday

5G – Tuesday and Thursday

5H – Tuesday & Friday

 

Week 2

5BH – Monday and Thursday

5FC – Tuesday and Friday

5G – Tuesday and Thursday

5H – Tuesday
