This term, we have been learning all about coasts, linking to the work we do in science about the water cycle. We have learnt about the features of coasts and how they are formed and change over time, as well as creating topographical maps. We have thought about why coasts and waterways are important for trade and the impacts that erosion can have on people and places.
In Year 4, we learn about some of the features of mountains and how they are formed. We learn about different mountains across the world, including mountains in North America. We enjoyed creating our own mountains in a homework project and showcasing it to the other classes, which you can see below.
