Year 2

Welcome to Year 2

Happy new year and welcome to Term 3! We hope you have all had a restful and enjoyable Christmas break and are looking forward to the activities and opportunities that await us this term.

Thank you for your continuing support at home with learning; we know many of you are engaging well with Purple Mash, Numbots and Collins E-books. These continue to be available to you.

Spellings will continue to be sent home this term as homework. This will start again in week 2 (Monday 9th January) so please encourage your child to practise these spellings as much as possible throughout the week in preparation for the weekly spelling quiz which will take place on a Friday. There will also be a copy of these spellings in the spelling folder below.

Please see our termly newsletter for details of the topics and events we have planned for Term 3. Some highlights include a Great Fire of London exhibition, preparing for the Dance Festival and a trip to the Synogogue.

As always if you have any queries, please don't hesitate to get in touch with your child's class teacher. Email addresses can be found below and we will be on the playground at the end of each school day.

Many thanks

2B Enterprising inspires the next generation of ambitious, healthy, enterprising and informed citizens. We raise the aspirations of young people whilst introducing them to valuable life experiences and key skills.

They came in on Wednesday 28th September and spent some time with each class, teaching them problem solving skills as well as the importance of co-operation, communication and confidence.
