This term in PSHE we will be thinking about the question ‘How can we live a happy and healthy life?’
This week will be focusing on ‘balanced diet’.
Make the most of your time at home and have a go at making your own healthy lunch. Try and include some healthy carbohydrates (brown bread or pitta), some fruit and vegetables (cucumber, apple, orange, tomatoes), some dairy (maybe some cheese or a low sugar yogurt), some protein (ham, baked beans, or tuna) and plenty of water.
Have a look on the Change4Life website to get some inspiration for your lunch and send pictures of your lunch to your teachers!
