You will be food detectives and look at the traffic light labels on the food you have in your kitchen and look at how much sugar is in it. This term in PSHE we will be thinking about the question ‘How can we live a happy and healthy life?’
This week will be focusing on ‘balanced diet’.
Make the most of your time at home and have a go at making your own healthy lunch. Try and include some healthy carbohydrates (brown bread or pitta), some fruit and vegetables (cucumber, apple, orange, tomatoes), some dairy (maybe some cheese or a low sugar yogurt), some protein (ham, baked beans, or tuna) and plenty of water.
