Science

We investigated which items float and which sink. We took turns to choose items in our classroom, predicted whether they would float or sink, then dropped them in water to test our prediction.

We looked around our playground for different leaves, petals, bark and other similarities and differences with the plants we found.

We’ve planted some beans to see how they grow. We used cotton wool and clear wallets so we can see the roots as they grow. We will watch them in our classroom to see the changes.

We worked together to sort trees by their leaves and shape. Then we tried to name each one.
