Term 2
This term, reception visited the local park, Greville Smyth, to help build their sense of place of the local area and explore the local environment. They will be visiting the park two more times throughout the year and beginning to draw maps and learning to use more geographical vocabulary to describe their surroundings.
First Park Trip

In Reception, we take trips to the park to observe our local area and surroundings. We have begun to explore drawing maps of the school and things we can see around us.
