What Happens If My Child Is The Victim of Discrimination?

We aim to create an inclusive environment where our pupils and parents trust that all forms discrimination will be identified, challenged, responded to appropriately and recorded; and where victims and those responsible receive the support they need following an incident of discrimination.

When an alleged discriminatory incident is reported, we use a flowchart (see below) to ensure each alleged incident is investigated carefully and the requisite support is given to all of those affected. 

At Ashton Gate Primary School, we take all alleged discriminatory behaviour very seriously and we are working hard to develop an 'Upstander Community' that encourages all members of a school community to call out discrimination when it occurs.
