SEND Provision in English
All subject leaders and teachers ensure that the needs of pupils with SEND are considered when planning the curriculum. Adaptation and adjustments are made to the curriculum according to the specific need of the pupil. Examples of these are shown in the document titled "Ordinarily Available Provision" produced by Bristol City Council which is linked below.

Little Wandle

Beginning in EYFS and KS1, the teaching of phonics and word reading is delivered through the systematic, synthetic phonics program 'Little Wandle Letters and Sounds.' The children engage in daily phonics sessions where they will systematically work through the phases of phonics progression. This will continue into KS2 where needed, alongside the children developing their knowledge and skills in comprehension.
