Meet the teachers for September 2025.
Welcome to Term 5
Welcome back. We hope that you have all had a great Easter break and are looking forward to some better weather. We have lots of exciting things planned for the children. One of them being Andy from “Andy’s dinosaur adventures” organised by Mrs Lambert to visit and talk to our children!
Our doors open at 8:40 and all children are expected to be in class by 8.50. The morning activities are an important part of consolidating learning.
Please do continue to read with your child at home, when possible, as this contributes greatly to their reading progress throughout the year. Please ensure your child's Little Wandle book and reading record are in school each day.
If you have any skills or experiences that would support the children in their learning this term please speak to your child’s class teacher. Thank you to the visitors that we have had so far this year. This really has enhanced the children’s learning. As always, we continue to look for volunteers to help support the children’s reading development. If you are able to help, please see your child’s class teacher.

PE days:
Cherry Class: Wednesdays
Elm Class: Wednesdays but in week 3 (Thursday)
Beech Class: Wednesdays
Library Days:
Cherry – Wednesday (weeks 1,3,5)
Beech - Friday (week 1,3,5)
Elm - Wednesday (weeks 2,4,6)
We would also love to have families come in to share more about their cultural celebrations with the children. If this is something you would be interested in doing, please contact your child's class teacher. Also, if you're able to help volunteer to read with our children, please do let us know.
