Librarian Club

Wednesday 3:00pm - 4:00pm

 

This term Librarian Club is run by Mrs Franklin for our Year 6 children.

 

Our Year 6 librarians spend Librarian Club time organising and sorting the huge book collection; they are familiar with our online digital library system, alphabetising fiction books by author, and arranging non-fiction books using the Dewey referencing system. They also curate many of the library wall displays and have been creating some interactive ways to engage library visitors with the books. Each librarian is also given the opportunity to nominate new books or authors to replenish our library.
