Please continue to support your child coming into the classrooms independently at the beginning of the day.

The school day starts at 8.50 -9.00 am and finishes at 3.20pm. Please drop-off and pick-up your child from their classroom door area.

Please can your child bring their book bag in every day and that all coats and jumpers are labelled, thank you.

Please ensure your child has a full PE kit which ideally should remain in school for the term and taken home at the end of the term to be washed. Please label all PE bags and all kit to avoid it getting muddled while the children get changed. We sometimes get extra PE days but as standard the class PE days are as below:

Elm Class have PE on Tuesday with Coach Cam and Friday with Miss Burden

Cherry Class on Tuesday with Coach Cam and Thursday with Mr Anderson

Beech Class on Wednesday with Coach Cam and Friday with Mrs Fradgely

Apple Class have PE on Tuesday with Mrs Street and Wednesday with Coach Cam

Please keep in mind the above days may change if there is a need to swap or if we get an extra PE session one week. It is important to always have a PE kit at school in case changes occur or if children need extra clothes for any other reason.

We have been really lucky and very grateful to have some parents helpers coming in to read with the children. This is a great help to the teachers and the children really enjoy reading with other adults. If you feel you might have time to come in and help too, please speak to the class teacher at the beginning or end of the day to arrange this.

Reading

Please aim to listen to your child read 3 to 4 times a week and you will be amazed at the progress they make! Children can change their reading books when they have enjoyed the current reading book and are ready for something new. Teachers decide on the book level that is right for your child.
