To help us achieve our targets of improving biodiversity and looking after our school grounds, we are working hard with gardening projects. We have teamed up with Blaise Nurseries and Bristol Bites Back Better to receive lots of different seedlings, ready to grow in our Upton site allotment. We hope that we are able to harvest the vegetables that we grow and donate them back to the local community. We would like to say a big thank you to Ellieana Ford, for highlighting this project to us and also organising a gardening tool loan from the council. We would also like to thank Avon Gardens Trust, who awarded us a grant, which has enabled us to get the compost and tools that we need to grow our plants.
Year 6 gardening club are working hard each week to weed, plant and water our new plants. You will be able to see photos and videos of our progress below.
