Ashton Gate Street Art Hunt and competition!
Using the ‘Ashton Gate street art passport’ we are challenging you to find street art along North Street this half term. This year we would also like you to get inspired and create your own street art! Create your own street art on the wall background provided and hand in to your class teacher by 31st of Matrch. One piece from each year group will win a prize and be displayed in the school. We can not wait to see what street art you might create!
The passport can be found on the art page of the school website or collected from either office from Monday 6th February.
Art is a creative discipline which embodies some of the highest forms of human creativity in many cultures. We want pupils at Ashton Gate to experience a high-quality art and design education that engages, inspires and challenges pupils. They will have the opportunity to experiment, invent and create works of art, craft and design based on their interests and experience. During their time at Ashton Gate, children will study a range of artists, makers and designers from a diverse range of backgrounds to understand the development of their art forms and inspire their own work.
Arts Trail September 2022
Ashton Gate Primary School took part in the community 'Arts Trail'. At the end of last academic year each class chose an artist to create a piece of art work. It was lovely to see so many people from our community enjoy the Arts Trail!. See below some pictures of the children's fantastic work!
