Spelling (CUSP)

We are beginning a new Spelling curriculum at Ashton Gate this year - CUSP Spelling.

There are no online resources or home learning expectations. We will be teaching spellings in class and using informal assessments within lessons, rather than a formal spelling test at the end of each week.

If you would like to support your child with practising their spellings, please see your Year Group's Webpage or ask your class teacher to find out what words you can work on at home.

Most of the blocks teach a pattern or rule; as such, the word lists are not exhaustive and can be added to.
