Welcome to Year 5!
Meet the teachers for September 2025.
Welcome to term 1! We hope you had a restful summer break and are ready for a busy first term in Year 5. In term 1, we are looking forward to settling the children into their new classes.
This term, we will be exploring a range of new and interesting topics, which you can see in the 'Curriculum Overview' tab, as well as in more detail in our newsletter. Please check the newsletter for important dates this term.
If you have any queries throughout the school year, please don't hesitate to get in touch with your child's class teacher. We are on the playground at the end of each school day and our email addresses are below.

Drop off and pick-up.
Children are able to go into the back playground through the large black gates from 8.30. At 8.40, teachers collect classes to take them upstairs. At this time, the black gate is closed and children are able to enter the building through the white door until 8.50. After this, children will need to come in through the main entrance and sign in there.
Children will be dismissed from the front playground at 3.10 and must have pointed out their adult to their teacher before being able to leave. Please do not try to collect your child in the road. Children will only be allowed to walk home alone if parents have filled out the relevant form to give permission. After school club collect from the playground.
