Year 2

Welcome to Year 2!

Welcome back to term 5! We hope you all had a fantastic Easter break and looking forward to coming back to school. The four of us are excited to get stuck into learning and all the fantastic things we have planned along the way. As we say every time ... we have a busy term ahead! Please look at our newsletter and MTP on this page to find out more. 

Within our first week back year 2s will be going on their geography fieldwork trip, spotting human features along the way, to support drawing a map of their local area. Addionally we will be celebrating Earth day with the theme of 'Storytelling in Nature'. Also this term we have our sewing workshop, where children will be sewing and decorating a pouch, an visit from Andy Day and bee workshop. 

If you or anyone that you know has any skills linked to our learning this term, and you would be willing and able to come in and share them with the children, please let your child’s class teacher know.  This can be a very enriching experience for the children and they love having visitors.
