This year, a large number of children entered the Ablaze poetry competition, many of them during the second lockdown in January and February. It is a poetry writing competition open to all children in Bristol.
They had to write a poem on theme of 'Happiness' which was no longer than 30 lines.
We are still waiting for the results of the judges, which have been delayed due to covid. They will appear here as soon as we know them. All winners will have their poems published in a book.
Well done everyone who entered a poem and was motivated to get involved!
