Welcome to Term 5
We hope you have had a restful Easter break and are looking forward to another fantastic term full of learning!
A reminder that our doors open at 8:40 and all children are expected to be in class by 8.50. The morning welcome activities are an important part of consolidating learning.
Please ensure children bring their Little Wandle book and their reading record to school each day.

Project Zulu Sponsored Run and Visit:
On Tuesday 20th May 2025, the South African Township schools will be visiting Ashton Gate Primary School on their UK Choir Tour, performing traditional Zulu song and dance! To support their fundraising efforts, the children at Ashton Gate Primary School will be participating in a sponsored run between Monday 28th April and Friday 2nd May, with all of the money raised going directly to the Project Zulu development projects.
The most important thing is that all the pupils work as a team and enjoy the sponsored run. However, if you are able to sponsor the children, please donate using the link below:

PE days are changeable in Term 5 - Please check PE days with the class teacher each week.
Library Days:
Apple: Monday
Beech: Wednesday
Cherry: Alternate Fridays - Weeks 1, 3 and 5
Elm: Thursday
If you have any skills or experiences that would support the children in their learning this term, please speak to your child’s class teacher. Also, if you're able to help volunteer to read with our children, please do let us know.
