School Dinners

We are very lucky to have a fantastic in-house catering team who prepare and cook all school meals on-site every day.   Having in-house catering means that we are able to plan our own menus in collaboration with the pupils so that we know that we are preparing meals that they will enjoy.

Reception and KS1

All children in Reception and Key Stage 1 are entitled to a Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM).  We encourage all children to have a school meal as they are nutritionally balanced and we use locally sourced ingredients. 

KS2

The cost of a school dinner for Key Stage 2 children will remain at £2.40 per meal.  If you think that you may be entitled to free school meals, please speak to the school office.  Please pay for your child's school dinners online using the Parentpay system.

If your child has a food allergy, intolerance or any special dietary requirements, please speak to our Catering Manager who will discuss your child’s dietary needs with you and if necessary design a personalised menu for your child.  The school has a strict no nut policy and nuts are not used in any food prepared by our catering team.  We ask that children who bring a packed lunch do not have nuts due to the risk to the children at the school with a nut allergy.

All our school meals are prepared according to the School Food Standards.  Further information on these standards can be found below.Any comments or suggestions regarding our school dinners are welcome.
