Geography
Geography education at Ashton Gate will inspire in pupils a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people, that will remain with them for the rest of their lives. Our teaching should equip pupils with knowledge about and an appreciation for diverse places, people, resources and natural and human environments. Geography lessons will develop an understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes, including how these processes interact and change over time, both locally and globally. Pupils will develop their sense of place and locational knowledge, as well as acquiring a range of geographical skills, which they will be able to apply to lessons, activities and the future.
