Year 6

Welcome to Term 4!

We hope students are feeling relaxed and ready to start an important term, preparing for SATs. The school day begins at 8.30, with important targeted work happening during the registration period. Also, please encourage your child to keep completing homework from their CGP books. If your child wants more practice on any areas, we will happily provide extra worksheets to be sent home.

Our curriculum overview is available below and you can find details of what we will be learning about in each subject. If you or anyone that you know has any skills linked to our learning this term and you would be willing and able to come in and share them with the children, please let your child’s class teacher know as this can be a very enriching experience for the children and they love having visitors.

We will be available outside the side door at the end of the school day and can also be contacted by email. Please do get in contact if you need to at any point and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Drop off and pick-up.

Children should come in through the white doors (next to the main entrance) between 8.30-8.40. Children will be dismissed from the same doors at 3pm and must have pointed out their adult to their teacher before being able to leave. Children will only be allowed to walk home alone if parents have filled out the relevant form to give permission. After school club collect from the playground.
