Welcome to Year 4!
Meet the teachers for September 2025.
We are delighted to welcome all of our Year 4 children back to school after what we hope was a wonderful summer break. We are excited to begin a new school year full of fun, learning, and memorable experiences. We’re starting the term with a fantastic trip to Noah’s Ark Zoo on Thursday 25th September, which links to our science topic. In addition, the children will be starting a 10-week block of swimming lessons at Hengrove, giving them the chance to build their confidence and skills in the water.
On our Year 4 page, you will find our newsletter, which gives more detail about the lessons we’ll be covering this term, as well as our yearly and termly overview.
If you have any questions at any point during the year, please don’t hesitate to email your child’s class teacher or catch them on the playground at the end of the school day.
We are looking forward to a fantastic year of learning ahead!
Drop off and pick-up.
Children are able to go into the back playground through the large black gates from 8.30. At 8.40, teachers collect classes to take them upstairs. At this time, the black gate is closed and children are able to enter the building through the white door until 8.50. After this, children will need to come in through the main entrance and sign in there.
Children will be dismissed from the back playground at 3.10 and must have pointed out their adult to their teacher before being able to leave. After school club collect from the playground.
