Term 6

Welcome Back!

We hope you have all had a lovely week and the children have enjoyed their time off. We are really looking forward to term 6 with your children. This term we have lots of exciting things planned including Money week, Sports Day and our end of year trip to the Bristol Zoo Project. Our theme this term is ‘Changing and Growing.’ We will be looking at the life cycles of various animals and reading the book Tad together. We will also look at nonfiction books and websites about life cycles to do our own research. Woe will explore how we change and grow ourselves in preparation for the transition to Year 1 – talking about ‘before me’, ‘me before’, ‘me now’ and ‘future me’. We will do lots to prepare the children for the move to year 1 in September – including circle times, stories, visits to and from their new teacher and playtimes in their new playground.
